i have a probleme in installation of the backtrack >>doesn't have a driver of

hey man, its my first post here, i saw that u need help in ur nVidia, i hade the same problem here is what happen: if u have an intel graphique card, linux (backtrack 5) install automaticly the driver but if u have a nvidia cgraphique card, the drivers are not free, so u drivers wont be installed automaticly my solution for u is to take a look at this : http://www.ubuntugeek.com/howto-inst...ucid-lynx.html https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Bi...erHowto/Nvidia or keep searching in google like this: install nvidia drivers on ubuntu or something like that i hope u find the answer take care man

just go to nvidia sit download ur driver.....it will give .run extention file..copy that driver file on desktop then log out from x server then where you type startx there you give command cd Desktop then run that driver file using this command sh youfilename.run

then follow instruction...
